Barbells-Eric Fiorillo The Host of the Award Winning Motivation and Muscle Streaming Radio 24/7 Welcomes Carmen Caputo to the broadcast? Carmen is a USA Marine Veteran, a Retired School Teacher and a Champion Weightlifter for 59 years. It’s my pleasure to welcome Joe Caputo to the Motivation and Muscle Family and introduce Carmen Son to our listening audience! Joe was born and raised in Oklahoma. At 32, I’ve been lifting weights now for 20 years thanks to my parents’ input and support. I have an MA in Eastern Classics, and currently, work for a local community college as an administrative assistant. Today on Motivation and Muscle Streaming Radio Eric, Carmen, and Joe discuss the Barbell plain and simple! I believe that this is the only tool you'll ever need to become Hulk Strong! Let's talk about how the Barbell evolved. The revolving Olympic Barbell roots can be traced back to the year 1905. Franz Velrum began selling the world's first plate-loading barbell in 1905. In 1928 Kasper Berg of Berg Barbell began making "the first modern Olympic barbell." The Berg Barbell was used in the 1928 Amsterdam Olympic games and soon thereafter York Barbell company, Jackson Barbell, and others began copying, thereby standardizing the Berg Olympic barbell. Barbells are without a doubt the most essential and most productive piece of weightlifting equipment you'll ever put your hands on. Take it from Carmen. That's 59 years of experience over and under an Olympic Bar with monstrous success. No matter what discipline of Physical Culture you practice the Barbell is and will always be the foundation to whatever it is you want to achieve. We all talk about the importance of the auxiliary movements to enhance the main lifts in your program! Carmen talks about the how and the why of the pullover and why he's done them for years now. We talk about the necessity of Grip Work and how important it is to everything you lift. We mention how we use the Apollon Axle and we discuss how we train the all-important thumb. Joe and I discuss Power Rack Training and the importance of the Body Overload. With this in mind, the word confidence comes to the top of our discussion. The only way to build true confidence is through failure and the will to keep coming back and succeed. Patience and an Optimistic view will get you there! Here is another masterpiece of Training Knowledge which will help anyone out there who is in a training rut or better yet the Training Unknown. Get out there and reestablish your hunger for the iron and reexamine why you started training in the first place! The Barbell has it all for you it's just up to you know how far you want to take it. Take it to the Heavens! Motivation and Muscle Streaming Radio 24/7 With Host Eric Fiorillo Connects Your Brain With Your Brawn!
